Robert Child – Founder/Owner
Rob founded RPM Sapphire in 2012 with a simple goal: to bring professional, reliable, and locally grounded property management to the Bitterroot Valley. In addition to a dual Master’s Degrees including an MBA from Texas A&M, Rob brings certifications as an Environmental Health Specialist, Property Management Licensee, and a certification as a Tax Credit Specialist for tax credit properties.
Rob takes pride in providing hands-on service and practical solutions for his clients. As a longtime Bitterroot Valley resident and small business owner, Rob is fully invested in the community and takes pride in strengthening the community through providing and caring for housing. When he’s not managing properties he enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and four children and contributing to the community he’s proud to call home.
Tara Child – Co-Founder/Co-Owner
Tara is the Co-Owner and Co-Founder of RPM Sapphire along with Rob. Tara and Rob have worked side by side every step of the way as they have founded and grown the business. Tara specializes in marketing and owner relations. She has diverse interests and other ventures but remains a major part of the business. She is the proud mother of four lovely children and loves making the world a more beautiful place in a multitude of ways!
Heather Stromberg – Office Manager
With over eight years of experience in residential and multifamily property management, Heather has cultivated a passion for building lasting relationships and creating positive experiences for both property owners and residents. Heather takes pride in offering professional and responsive service, consistently finding solutions that make property management seamless and rewarding. Outside the office, you can find Heather enjoying the outdoors with family, practicing archery, or indulging in her love for cooking.
Kelsey Landstrom – Property Manager
With a strong foundation in management and a passion for serving people, Kelsey brings a unique perspective to her role in property management. After earning a BA in Communications from San Diego State University, Kelsey spent many years in leadership roles within the education sector before transitioning into property management.
Now with over a year of experience in the field, Kelsey oversees much of our new leasing activity and takes pride in helping residents find the right place to call home. Kelsey has called the Bitterroot Valley home for the past five years and truly enjoys being part of this welcoming community.
Outside of work, Kelsey loves spending time with family, attending local events, traveling, and exploring the incredible natural beauty that Montana has to offer.
Clarence Gold – Maintenance Man
Meet the man who keeps things running smoothly for owners and tenants alike – our awesome maintenance man Clarence! Clarence is an essential part of the RPM Sapphire team. He has over 15 years’ experience in home construction and maintenance. He is able to fix just about anything! He has been with us for over five years and takes care of general maintenance for properties managed by RPM Sapphire.
Clarence is a lifelong resident of the Bitterroot and has a beautiful family consisting of his lovely wife and seven children. He enjoys the outdoors and being an awesome Dad, Husband, and friend.
Heather Milleson – Maintenance Coordinator
Heather has worked in property management for over three years, specializing in leasing and maintenance coordination. Her background in construction and home inspection allows her to anticipate client and tenant needs and maintain our owners properties to the highest standard. Heather is a licensed professional property manager who brings a hands-on, solution-focused, and cost-effective approach to every task. Outside of work she loves hiking in the woods with her two kids and is looking forward to getting back into snowboarding — and maybe even bow hunting — in the near future.
Brooke Child – Administrative Assistant
Brooke is new to RPM Sapphire. She assists with administrative and office support tasks, including organizing documents, invoicing, and helping with client communications. She enjoys keeping things organized to help the team work efficiently. In her free time she enjoys playing tennis and practicing her origami skills.
